BOOKING

Early booking is highly recommended in order to fully plan and create the design of your cake. However if you are short of time please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our very best to help.

CAKES ON A BUDGET

If you are working to a tight budget please mention this at the beginning. By choosing a simpler design or altering the portion size can ensure a fantastic cake for a lower price. We are able to produce plain cakes that you can then decorate as you wish or we can decorate plain cakes if you have already made or bought them. Please contact us to discuss this further.

DEPOSITS

Option 1: If you are unsure of which design or style you would like and undecided with the colour scheme for your wedding, a non refundable deposit of £50 will secure the date for you which will give you more time to finalise the details. Your order will need to be confirmed no later than 3 months before the wedding date along with a further £50 deposit. The full balance will be due 30 days prior to the collection/delivery date.

Option 2: If you are happy with your chosen design and would like to go ahead with your order a non refundable deposit of £100 will need to be taken to confirm your booking. The full balance is due 30 days prior to the collection/delivery date.

STANDS & KNIVES

A selection of cake stands and knives can be hired for your special day and are subject to a refundable deposit if the item is returned in the same condition.

DELIVERY & PACKAGING

Some cakes may need to be assembled at the venue and others can simply be collected, normally two days before your wedding. We are able to deliver and set up at venues with a charge depending on the distance we need to travel to the venue.

The cakes will be stored in a suitable cake box and when collected you will be required to sign a receipt for the cake to confirm that it is as ordered and in perfect condition. If the cake is to be delivered to the venue, I will require them to sign for the cake on your behalf.

Once signed for, the cake will no longer be the responsibility of Cakes by Faye.

If collecting the cake yourself, please refer to the following points:

• Keep the cake level and upright, the boot of the car would be best
• Drive carefully with no sudden or sharp movements
• Store your cake at room temperature or in an air conditioned room; NEVER place the cake in the fridge
• Ensure the venue has provided a suitable and stable table for the cake to be displayed on
• Do not place the cake near busy areas where guests will congregate or the dance floor where movement can affect the cake

BOOKING

If possible please try to book with plenty of notice, and for any last minute orders, please contact us as soon as possible.

DEPOSITS

A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm a booking with the balance due on collection or delivery. This differs from wedding cakes, so please refer to the Wedding Cakes information on deposits.

DELIVERY & PACKAGING

All cakes can be delivered within 5 miles so please mention if you require delivery when placing your order.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Any changes to the design of the cake once confirmed may incur extra charges.

Please note that all cakes may contain traces of nuts.
